☆Meiling Li, Cardcaptor Sakura☆

I actually made Syaoran and Meiling at the same time to be a matched set with my sister! As I mentioned on my Syaoran page, I considered sewing a CLAMP costume a milestone, so I was very proud I was able to produce two. Meiling’s outfit was a mixture of adapting an existing pattern and my own patterning. I learned how to applique and satin stitch while making these costumes. Sadly, there’s no proper photos of this costume. My sister works artist alley at conventions, so she doesn’t really get a chance to leave her table. Lol I’ve considered trying on the costume myself to see if I can get photos of it that way haha. For now, it looks like this hall shot from the con will have to do.
