☆Percy Jackson, Pjo/Heroes of Olympus series☆

The Son of Poseidon~! Some time while taking grad classes, I fell in love with the Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus book series. Percy was my favorite character in the first series and I thought he would be an easy, comfy, wig-less costume for me to wear on Thursdays or Sundays of cons. Everything was bought, with the exception of the necklace I made. I first wore him in 2013, but didn’t get photos of him until 2017. Since AnimeNEXT is walking distance from the beach, I took the opportunity to finally get some amazing photos for Percy in this perfect setting. That was one of my absolute favorite shoots. John Rocco’s gorgeous illustration for the cover of The Lightning Thief is my favorite cover of anything ever and I am so happy that I got to pay homage to it in one of my photos.
