☆Taako Taaco -Pumpkin Spice-, The Adventure Zone☆

An interpretation of Justin McElroy's character from "The Adventure Zone" podcast. Everything, with the exception of the blouse was machine-sewn or hand-sewn by myself. Additional wefts were hand-sewn into the wig to give it more thickness. For my Taako outfits, I like to take already existing pieces from either my own closet or from previous cosplays. I first wore this look for an outing to the NY Renaissance Faire at the end of summer. The theme for that weekend was autumnal since October was just starting. I came up with this outfit based on the seasonal colors to try and fit the theme, hence why I call this outfit my ‘Pumpkin Spice Taako’. I typically don’t wear my Taako outfits more than once, but I liked this one so much that I decided to wear it to one of the days of New York Comic Con later that month.
