☆Dipper Pines, Gravity Falls☆

So I wasn’t originally going to put Dipper on this site because I didn’t have proper photos of him, but I wanted to show off the Mabel costume I made for my sister. I’m the older sibling by three years, so we’re not twins, but my sister and I are pretty much Mabel and Dipper respectively. We had so much fun getting this little Gravity Falls group together. Dipper’s costume took way less work than Mabel’s since I literally just had to buy everything. For the hat, I took a blue trucker cap to a little kiosk in my local mall that does custom embroidery. I did make my 3 Journal though. I took a blank sketchbook and covered it in a red pleather material. The hand I cut out of a separate pleather piece, painted it gold, and glued it to the cover. I tea/coffee stained the page edges while the book was closed so it would look aged. I actually wanted to give the whole book the same treatment and recreate all the pages, but I had run out of time and only managed to do just two pages. Sadly, I neglected to take photos of not just my Journal, but of our group in general. I’ve only got a couple convention shots to share; one of which is from the Gravity Falls cosplay gathering at Otakon. With so many Dippers gathered in one place, it was only natural for us to get in a clone fight lmao.
