☆Prince Zuko, Avatar the Last Airbender☆

My broody prince Zuko~ The time that I made this costume was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for a variety of reasons, but despite all of that, I think this costume came out really nice and is actually one of my favorites. He just photographs really well and it’s nice not having to wear a wig for it. The whole thing was sewn by me. His scar was made out of liquid latex and is attached to my face with spirit gum. His swords are bought and aren’t accurate to the ones in the show, but I thought they were a pretty good substitute. The fire fans featured in some of these photos aren’t mine. A fellow fire-powered character, Natsu (Fairy Tail) cosplayer came across my shoot and generously lent them to me for a bit to use them for my photos.

Completed: May 2013 technically since I had added a little bit of decorative detail on the vest and completely remade the shoe covers. But the initial costume was more or less done in October 2012.
