☆Taffyta Muttonfudge, wreck-it Ralph☆
Taffyta Muttonfudge~! My sister had cosplayed Vanellope at a con during the summer and we thought it would be cute to be a small Sugar Racers group for New York Comic Con a few months later. Since my sister already had a claim on Vanellope, I went with Taffyta. The dress I sewed out of this obnoxiously glittery and bright pink spandex fabric. Her jacket was a pink zip-up pullover that I modified. I hand-sewed white ribbon to be the stripe going along her sleeves and I painted the collar and bottom with fabric paint. Her strawberry hat was a painted plastic army helmet from a Halloween store. I extended the brim using some scrap Wonderflex. The leaves were sculpted out of air-dry clay and painted, then glued onto the hat. I then finished it off with a coat or two of glitter spray to give it more sparkle. Her shoes were a lucky find. I found these blank white platform sneakers that I just painted with glittery pink fabric paint. Her other accessories like her gloves and socks were bought or what I already had on hand.
