☆Wiccan, Young Avengers☆

Wiccan's original costume from Marvel's Young Avengers. This was when I still thought making a bodysuit was too daunting of a task, so I bought a black bodysuit and modified it by sewing the silver panels on the sides and cutting the sleeves short. I’d like to remake his bodysuit now though, since I definitely have the skills to take it on. I patterned and sewed the cowl myself though. The cape was machine-sewn and self tattered. Armor and belt pieces were crafted from Wonderflex thermoplastics and miscellaneous materials. This was my first time using any kind of thermoplastic. Worbla was also around at the time, but I chose to start off with Wonderflex since it was the slightly cheaper alternative and easier to get a hold of.

Completed: October 2013. Technically, October 2014, as that’s when I finally got those swirls on the side panels drawn on, but meh.
